ESWT was aimed to treat plantar fascitis, elbow lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), golf's elbow, shoulder calcified tendinitis, patella tendinitis, and Achilles tendinitis. About 70 to 80 percent of orthopedic patients with chronic pain experience significant improvement in pain management. And many patients do not require additional treatments in 2 years.
